One Day in Berlin-What to do?

This time around I have one day to spend in Berlin up to about 6pm as I%26#39;m off to the opera then,I%26#39;m back in May for 4 days but need suggestions on what to do with this one day on my hands.

Also is there an integrated travel pass for 2 or 3 days

Perhaps take a tour with one of the walking tour companies, seeing all major sites, e.g.:

You asked about integrated travel passes. I was last in Berlin in 2001, and at that time you could buy a one-day %26quot;Fahrausweis%26quot; (i.e. ticket) that was valid for bus, tram, subway/underground, S-Bahn and ferry trips throughout Berlin (but not on the S-Bahn outside Berlin, e.g. to Potsdam) through to the wee hours of the next morning. I%26#39;m sure they must still have such a thing.
