Don%26#39;t know aboput the apts. However, when I lived in Munich some years back, Giesing wasn%26#39;t exactly %26quot;prime real estate%26quot;.

Giesing was an old workers��quarter, but for accommodation it would be as good as any other part of the city. We dont have this division between very bad, ghetto-like and very good residential areas, Giesing is not posh, but not run down at all.
It is close to the city, best U-Bahn and tram connections, if the appartment itself is okay, no problem to stay there.

We will be staying at the Hubmann apartments in May 2008. We wanted a place that was outside of Munich city so that we can take multiple day trips by car. We are booked for 5 nights, and the website makes the place look quite nice. Also there is feedback from other travelers on the www.VRBO.com website or rentors.org/guestbook.

I think Hubmann must be o.k. I know the area because I live not far away. Actually its not the workers area of Giesing.

stayed there two weeks ago and it is the most wonderful aprtment you can imagine.
a few minutes walk to the subway, a walking/ biking trail out side the apartment and in less than 10 minutes you are in the center of munich. owners make you feel like family.
