Glaubodenfest/Glaubodenvolksfest

Hi there,

Has anyone been before? I can find one review in English when I do a general google search, which says it is like Beerfest but without so many tourists and a lot more %26quot;authentic bavarian%26quot;.

We have also translated the main webpage of the festival and have gained some helpful general information from this.

What I am really after is any tips (e.g what time to go, whether you should definitely book tables or can just turn up, any tents definitely to recommend, etc etc).

Any help would be gratefully received!

There a many %26quot;Volksfeste%26quot; in Bavaria. None has as many foreign tourists as the Oktobefest. If this makes them more authentic Bavarian they are for sure.

At least you can reserve tables with the tents.
