10 hours in Frankfurt

Hello,

I will be traveling to Europe on April 24,2008 and we will be stoping in Frankfurt from 6:30am to 18:30 pm. I am traveling with my 7 year old daughter. We would like to take a day trip or a city tour to visit and have good memories, and as well to stay awake.I was maybe thinking that Frankfurt Zoo would be a nice visit...Is there something else we should be visiting? Could I please have some advice?

Frankfurt zoo is undergoing heavy reconstruction.

Are you the type of person that would like to explore the city all by yourself? Take the train from the airport to the city center, walk to those sights that interest you, explore some of the shopping options etc?

Or are you looking for a guided day, i.e. a tour guide picking you up and showing you around. In that case you could also spend some time at the Opel Zoo in nearby K?nigstein. It%26#39;s on a mountain overlooking the Frankfurt area.

Thank you for your advice. On this note, I am not looking to explore the city on my own...a guided day trip would be more appropriate for us. Is there a booth at the Frankfurt airoport to book a trip like this? What do you recommend?
