Hi i am a budget traveller who is going to travel to germany (Cologne, Frankfurt, Nuremburg,Berlin)in july this year..I hope anyone who knows any interesting places, pls recommend to me.and how to travel within these cities( intra- and inter-)at low cost.thx.your reply is very much appreciated

Intra-city: the same way you would travel through a big Russian city: subways, trams, buses.
Inter-city: you can get pretty cheap advanmce special rates for the trains if you book (online) well in advance (60 days before the trip).
www.bahn.de
Then there are cheap group tickets for up to 5 persons which are valid for all regional trains (but not for long distance ones) within a state (Bavaria, NorthRhine-Westphalia etc.) for a whole day, at 22-27 Euro. On the weekends there are similar tickets for 33 Euro valid for the whole Germany. You have to take local trains only, which means that you need 2-3 times longer than a direct ICE train, but it is cheaper. For this, choose %26quot;only local transport%26quot; in the bahn.de menu.
For some destinations a flight (AirBerlin, TuiFly, Germanwings) is cheaper than the train ticket. But the cheap tickets are usually only available mid-week and run out very fast. Also on many destinations a train is faster than the flight, door to door.
