The best Indian restaurant in Berlin?

Hi!

I%26#39;m travelling to Berlin in early March and will be staying at the Hotel Angleterre in Friedrichstrasse 31 (near Checkpoint Charlie). I always like to try new Indian restaurants whereever I go, and this time it%26#39;s Berlin. Any recommendations greatly appreciated - especially if there are any great Indians near my hotel.

My favourite Indian restaurants in Berlin are the following. I don%26#39;t know one on the door step of your hotel though.

Maharani, Fuggerstr. 28 in Sch?neberg, nearest underground Nollendorfplatz or Wittenbergplatz

Amrit at the corner of Maa?enstr. and Winterfeldstr. in Sch?neberg, nearest underground Nollendorfplatz. They have a few more branches, one of them in Mitte http://www.amrit.de/

Aaina, at the corner of St��lpnagelstr. and Fredericastr. in Charlottenburg, nearest underground Kaiserdamm. It%26#39;s not really an Indian but what they call pan asian restaurant but the food is great.

All three restaurants are great but I%26#39;ve to say they don%26#39;t come close to my favourite one in London.

Berlin is not well known for its great Indian restaurants...

In addition, I am not a great expert on Indian food.

From your hotel, you can walk (or better: take U6) to Mehringdamm. There are several nice Indian restaurants on Bergmannstrasse and the nearby streets. 10Best recommends:

Another excursion from your hotel is to take the M29 (from Kochstrasse near Check Point Charlie), and step down at %26quot;Heinrichplatz%26quot;. There%26#39;s a nice Indian restaurant called Amrit nearby:

There%26#39;s also a good Singaporean restaurant nearby.

The Best indian restautant in Berlin is Rasas It is in Bayernallee 42 20 Minutes with U bahn Got best Kritik in Tv Newspapers and Radio you can check.
