You can drive there mostly by autobahn, the A8 west from by the Stuttgart airport to the A5 south by Karlruhe. A slower more scenic route would be to head west on the A8 and then in a short distance south on the A81, and then head west on one of the roads through the Black Forest.
For accomodation, you can check www.schwarzwald-tourismus.info . All tourist information websites should offer accomodations. Why don%26#39;t you use Europa Park%26#39;s website www.europapark.de or e-mail them directly- info@europapark.de with your request for an additional night.

In another of your posts I see that you have a seven year old child. He, and your whole family, would enjoy a visit to the Mercedes Benz Museum in Stuttgart (www.stuttgart-tourist.de). Stuttgart is afterall where the car was invented. This museum documents over 120 years of automotive history with 160 vehicles including Mercedes through the years, automotive inventions, racing cars, and cars driven or used by famous people such as the Popemobile. There is also a bus used by one of Germany%26#39;s past World Cup teams that a lot of German children were thrilled to enter. There are also racing simulators which he might enjoy.
Rental car agents at the airport are: Avis, Budget, Europacar, Hertz, National Car/Alamo, and Sixt.

As you seem to be interested in amusement parks, some other websites of other Baden-Wuerttemberg amusement parks not too far from Stuttgart:
Wild-und Freizeitpark Bodanrueck (adventure play place on the bodensee with a super slide and a petting zoo- www.wildundfreizeitpark.de
Erlebnispark Tripsdrill (100 attractions)- www.tripsdrill.de
Schwaben Park (amusement park with animals and rides)- www.schwabenpark.com
Ravensburger Spieleland (various rides)- www.spieleland.com
Traumland (amusement park with fairytale themes and petting zoo, next to the Bear%26#39;s Cave which can be toured, and there is a summer bobsled run nearby) www.freizeitpark-traumland.de
Of course, Europa Park is Germany%26#39;s premiere amusement park, and one of the best in the world.
