I have a good price on a rental car with Gemut if I pick up in Ismaning istead of at the airport. It will save me about $125.00. Is Ismaning close to the airport and is it then easy to get on main road going to Bertchesgaden. It doesn%26#39;t bother us except when we are tired and totally jet-lagged.

Ismaning is only about 10 miles south of the airport so it should not be hard to get there. Ismaning is close to the autobahn so it would be easy to get on it and head on to Bertchesgaden.
You will be pleased with dealing with Gemut. First class service and as you found they also are able to get great rates with the rental companies. Best tip I can give since you are driving is to get a gps, preferably one you purchase here and take with you so you will be familiar with it. Good luck.
