Where are they located? Any comments or advice welcome.

Still no takers?
I am considering booking a weekend break to Berlin through a travel company and they offer these two hotels but they only show the picture C not the name.
Before I make the booking I wanted to check whether anybody can recognise the hotels and offer any comments about them.

Hi,
I%26#39;m sorry I can%26#39;t help you with the photos, but I would be wary of booking with a company that wouldn%26#39;t give the name of the hotel. Why, I wonder?
I would never book a hotel now without checking out reviews on TA - I can recommend the Grosser Kurfuerst in Berlin - just look at the hotels listed on the side of this page.

It is not that odd and my older colleague here at the office (yes, it became a sort of a scavenger hunt for us...) told me that it used to be standard practice before the age of Internet, when people could not book independently or shop around; some agents still do that so you won%26#39;t book independently.
The same veteran colleague is not totally sure, but thinks that the pictures are of:
Picture I (he says it is an outdated picture and that their exterior has changed a little):

Picture II (and indeed, same building)

If you want any opinions of these hotels, I am actually familiar with both. Both are in the eastern part of the city and pretty convenient traffic-wise. That%26#39;s the good part. I also know people who stayed there and were happy. The not so good part: the buildings themselves are not very aesthetic (as you can see for yourself); the comfortable traffic also means that it is on main streets (on on a busy junction; the other on the Ring railway); and although both do have a pub inside (and the second is also very close to a night-life area), it is not *the* coolest place to stay, night-life wise.
