Weather in May and best shopping

I am going to Frankfurt 27th May could someone tell what the weather is like and what are the best shopping areas. Im staying in National Hotel am I close to these areas. Thanks in advance

It%26#39;s impossible to predict the weather for end of May in mid February! We%26#39;ve had cold and rainy 27th of Mays, we%26#39;ve hot very hot and sunny ones (30��C and up).

Shopping: On Zeil (downtown pedestrian zone) or if you like there is an open air shopping mall called Main-Taunus-Zentrum just a few minutes outside the city center.

On Zeil is that anywhere near where I am staying.Thanks for your help. I love to shop we go for 4 days 3 are for tourist attractions and 1 is for me a shopping day which is like a millitary operation starts early and only ends when I cant carry anymore!!!

Your hotel is next to the Hauptbahnhof (main railway station) (fields D/E 6).

The Zeil is at G/H 4. Distance is approx. 1,5 km.

Or use the S-Bahn from Hauptbahnhof to Hauptwache or Konstablerwache (2nd/3rd stop).

Fashion: Zeil and Goethestr. Goethest goes from the Old Opera to Goetheplatz sqaure. You%26#39;ll love it!

Unusual home decorations: Hanauer Landstrasse (tram line 11 towards Fechenheim. It%26#39;s in an industrial area a bit outside but so well worth it!! Start right after the Mercedes dealership and walk it all the way to the Porsche dealership. Right across from it is Kontrast (http://www.kontrastmoebel.de). On your way along that streets always check with the back yards as well. Allow at least two hours, ideally 4!
