Hello there. We also want to visit Heidelberg from Munich. Say 1 day trip. Would you suggest renting a car or using railway? I need some inform. Because I find railway tickets a bit expensive!!!

Railway may be a bit expensive, but they are mostly on time. If you are travelling by car you habve to consider that there are many construction areas on the %26quot;Autobahn%26quot; especially the A8 between Stuttgart and Karlsruhe. I would recommend the train.

For a day trip Munich is too far from Heidelberg.

maybe, it%26#39;s too far, but i it%26#39;s like a dream for me to go to the romantic Heidelberg

True, but reverse direction is doable, because Heidelberg is much smaller than Munich, it%26#39;s sights can be done in a few hours.
I would strongly advise against going by car.
By purchasing the train tickets at least 3 days in advance, you can save a lot of money (e.g. online)
