Why don%26#39;t you go to the search box -- it%26#39;s just up there on the left -- and type in Cologne -- or go to the Cologne forum.

Read up on what%26#39;s been written there (there%26#39;s been masses of suggestions) then come back and ask us questions you might still have.

Cologne is a fabulous city with as much to do as you feel like getting up to...it%26#39;s just a matter of what you want to do the most.

Hi

I spent New Year in Cologne - we were there 4 nights in total.

The cathedral is an obvious must - it%26#39;s very cheap to climb the tower which is a good work out. Great views from the top. The inside is beautiful.

Pubs and bars are a plenty - there are loads to be found down by the river. There is a fab jazz bar ... but the name escapes me!!

If you are into sport there is an Olympic museum which is really interesting as well as interactive exhibits which is a fun way to spend a couple of hours if the weather isn%26#39;t so good.

I would%26#39;ve liked to have taken a boat trip but there weren%26#39;t any running. Maybe someone else on the forum can tell you if they have started in March.

Squeeze in a visit to the Lego shop - loads of Star Wars and Harry Potter lego - extortionate prices but they look great.

Cologne is fab though - if you get the chance to go back for New Year then take it!! Have fun.

I went to Cologne Zoo it was brillant and there is cable car next to the zzoo which goes over the rhine, you get off in a nice park.
