Taxi cost from aiport to Novotel Munchen Messe

Does anybody know the taxi cost from Munich airport to Novotel Munchen Messe? I will be travelling with my wife and 2 kids from North America. With all the suitcases, would it be more convenient to take a taxi from the airport instead of taking S8 and U-bahn.

Somewhat more convenient. But also more expensive as Munich airport is quite far from Munich.

MVV mini group day ticket is EUR 18,00.

Taxi to Messe will be EUR 50-60.

As Abalada says, a taxi is pretty expensive. If your kids are old enough to handle their suitcase, the S-Bahn is cheaper.

It also depends on your time of arrival and how tired you will be.

Thanks for the reply. We will be arriving from a short flight from Barcelona on Sunday afternoon. I think there should be any problem in finding the right trains. The kids would be able to pull their bags so this won%26#39;t be an issue either. Do you know if there is any lift/elevator at Leuchtenburg-ring and Berg am Laim for transferring between trains? We will be carrying 2 large and 2 small bags.

All or almost all S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations in Munich are wheelchair-accessible. I dont think you will have any problems with suitcases.

It seems that we should be able to manage to take S-bahn to our hotel at Messestadt-West. If we take S-bahn/U-bahn from the hotel to catch our return flight scheduled for 11:30am, we probably have to leave for the airport at 8:30m. Are U2/S4/S8 crowded in the morning around that time? We are concerned if there is any space for our luggage during the AM rush hours.
