Berlin Main Airport to "Zoo" Train Station

We will be flying into the Berlin international airport and we have a hotel room by the %26quot;Zoo%26quot; train station. Is there a cheap transportation option from the airport to the train station?

Berlin has more than one airport. You need to be more specific as to which airport before the first part of your question can be answered.

S-bahn trains run between the Zoo station, the Hauptbahnhof and the Ostbahnhof.

Go to the German Rail website ( www.bahn.de ) and click on the %26quot;International Guests%26quot; button. There will be an English language option and you can see the options for your train to Prague and the S-bahns between the Berlin stations.

Any single trip inside Berlin is EUR 2,10.

a) same price from Zoologischer Garten or Ostbahnhof to Prague with normal train tickets. True for all stations in central Berlin.

b) there is only one direct train from Ostbahnhof to Prague which departs at Ostbahnhof at 03:07. Otherwise the EC trains to Prague stop at Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main railway station), Berlin Sdkreuz and some (coming from Hamburg) also at Berlin Spandau.

c) if you have discounted specials to Prague, you%26#39;ll have to buy a ticket for EUR 2,10 from Zoo station in first place.

Not the best idea to translate station names. This won%26#39;t work with timetables. And may also confuse humans.
