This is our first Trip to Berlin, sorry no german, will the signs in the Airport be easy to follow, and are there always taxis available, at reasonable prices. We will be going to the Adrema Hotel. Any help would be appreciate.

Airport signs v. easy to follow. No problem with taxis either but check out public transport too because it is VERY good and much cheaper. There is a train called the Airport Express from Schoenfeld Airport to the centre of Berlin - which covers the distance in 20 minutes: doubt if a taxi would be that fast. You can get special tickets for various needs for public transport - one-day tickets, 3 days etc. To save on costs combine taxis and public transport. On this website you will probably find more details but, if not, google it!

Thank you Zafra for your help. I think I will take your advice and try public transport.
Does anyone know anything about the Gold Inn Adrema Hotel, or the Area.
Many Thanks DinnyIreland

Adrema Hotel has very good reviews on TripAdvisor:

It is not extremely close to sites, but still rather central; and it is not well connected to public transit - relatively to Berlin, of course, as there is a bus-stop on its doorstep. The neighbourhood is not dangerous, but also not a place I%26#39;d personally like to live permanently in - poverty, etc.

Is the hotel at Gotzkowskystr 20/21? If so it is in a mainly residential area about 10 min. by bus from the Zoo station in Charlottenburg. The nearest public transport is the bus 245 which brings you quickly to the Zoo station from where you have busses, underground and S-Bahn to explore Berlin. The nearest underground station is Turmstr. which you reach after about 10 min by foot.
To get to your hotel (if it is the one I found at Gotzkowskystr.) by public transport take the S-Bahn or the airport express to Hauptbahnhof. From there take the bus 245 towards Zoo station. A taxi will probably cost you approx. 30-35 Euro.
The area itself is o.k. but nothing exciting. You%26#39;ll find a few restaurants around there but more choice you will have if you jump on the bus 245 towards Zoo and get off at Steinplatz. From there it is a short walk to Savignyplatz.
