My family of 4 which include 2 adult children will be staying in Munich 3 nights towards the end of March, taking day trips to Dachau, Neuschwanstein, and then local touring of Munich. Is Radius tour company the best to book through? What hotel do you recommend for our party to stay.
Thanks, Karen, California

Hello Karen, I stayed at the hotel Der Tannenbaum it is right outside the city center aboat a 5 min walk it was a great location.the rooms were clean and the staff was helpfull, they booked us the royal castle tour at short notice for the next day.We took a tour with the Autobus Oberbayern we visited the Linderhof and Neuschwanstein castle and a stop in the town of Oberammergau for some shopping it was great. We also took the tour of Dachau with Munich City Walk Tours and that was also great hope this helps!

I don%26#39;t see there any need for a guided tour. It will be a lot cheaper by public transport.
At Neuschwanstein the official tours (if you want to see the interior) are anyway compulsory.
DB timetable

To: KZ Dachau
To: Hohenschwangau
From Munich to Dachau use a MVV mini group (2-5 persons) day ticket %26quot;Munich XXL%26quot;. EUR 11,80

From Munich to Hohenschwangau you can use the Bavaria Ticket. EUR 27,00 for 2-5 persons. This is a mini group day ticket covering all regional trains in Bavaria plus nearly all other local public transport. E.g. the buses from Fssen to Hohenschwangau (next to Neuschwanstein ticket centre) and the U-Bahn (metro), trams and buses in Munich. This ticket is valid
Mo-Fr from 9am till 3am next day
Sa,So from midnight till 3am next day
To be on the safe side you can reserve tickets for Neuschwanstein in advance. Please note that you have to collect these tickets at least one hour before the booked tour starts.
