munich airport...

i will be flying air berlin into munich from berlin on my way to athens.i land at 09.05 and my flight to athens is at 10.10...is it a big airport? iam worried about the time it may take to get about a strange airport trying to make the flight. or is it a case of just walking to the correct gate for the connecting flight?

The 2nd largest airport in Germany. The two terminal buildings are nearly 1 km long each.

Less than 1 hour is only possible if guaranteed by an airline (i.e. as connecting flight). If you have to check-out your luggage and again check-in this won%26#39;t work. If you have only hand luggage and your arrival/departure is from the same terminal this may work. Still tight however.

I assume that you are booked on Air Berlin for both legs. If you check the MUC website, the Air Berlin flight from Tegel usually arrives about 0910-0920 at Terminal 1 Pier A. The Air Berlin flight to Athens leaves at 1010 also from Terminal 1 Pier A. So-- there should only be a short walk between gates--as soon as you deplane, check with an agent.

As Abalada said-- it is a very big airport and if you are changing air carriers (say from Air Berlin to Lufthansa which flies out of Terminal 2) than the above goes out the window.
