Hello, I am currently in the US military stationed here by the %26quot;ring%26quot;. I have the pleasure of being in the midst of these fine roads, although I enjoy them on a superbike vs. a cooper....;). Anyways, if you don%26#39;t mind an few extra clicks (around 30), then I%26#39;d stay in Cochem on the Mosel river once you%26#39;re done at the Nurburgring. I can guarantee you%26#39;ll enjoy your stay there, and the Cochem castle is quite an awesome sight. Best of luck, and feel free to email me at ircy@hotmaildotcom if you%26#39;re in need of any local advice. TCHUSS!
Eric

From Nrburgring to Zrich don%26#39;t take Autobahn A61 but take A3 via Frankfurt to Darmstadt, then A67 from Darmstadt to Viernheim, A6 to Walldorf and then A5 to Basel. On that route there are only a few speed limits, the road is unlimited most of the time. A61 has got a speed limit of 130 km/h!
