midweek nightlife

Hi I am currently in berlin at the minute, looking for some advice about nightlife during the week. Where does anyone advise going, we are looking for a bar or club that is quite lively in our late twewnties we are staying at the arcotel velvet, also with the berinale on are there are any different areas that might be busier? Thanks

Arcotel Velvet is a great area to stay concerning nightlife. Down at Hackescher Markt you can join a pub crawl (insiderberlintours.com/insidertour.php/cat/1��) if that%26#39;s your %26quot;thing%26quot; (it would certainly be %26quot;lively%26quot;...).

The hotel itself has the Velvet Lounge and there are several other bars and clubs in the area.

midweek the weinerei%26#39;s are always busy and have a really good atmosphere.

In Prenzlauerberg at Veteranenstra?e 14 (Zionkirchplatz).

It%26#39;s a wine bar where you pay 1 euro for your glass and leave a tip when you leave in a glass jar.

Just down from there on Schonhauser allee is White Trash fast food its a very lively place that has live music and a restaurant.

Tacheles in Orianenburgerstrasse , Mitte right next door to you has a few interesting bars.

Cafe Zapata , High end bar etc

For clubbing try Cassiopia for funk /hip hop or

Watergate for electro/techno / house.

These are probably good options if you wanna find a crowd and have a bit of fun

It might be les crowded mid-wek, but given the fact that you%26#39;re in a part of the city that (almost) never sleeps and that you came in the Berlinale, you have nothing to be concerned about.
