K-D Boat Dock from Koblenz train station

What is the best way to get from the main Koblenz train station to the K-D boat dock in Koblenz. How far is it? We will be taking the train into Koblenz that morning and are hoping to catch one of the K-D boats to Bacharach. Also, does anyone know if there is a place for luggage on the K-D boats? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rheinf?hre is one bus stop before Deutsches Eck. Bus line #1. 10-12 minutes by bus (= too far for walking with luggage).

That%26#39;s about a 20-30 minute walk from the train station. If you walk along the river, it is not really that bad, but depends on how much luggage you have.

You could keep your luggage by your table(if you don%26#39;t have too much) or there is an area by the doors going out to the back. Here%26#39;s a picture of that area on the KD boat we were on:
