We are planning a trip to Germany around the first week of April. Could anyoen tell us what the weather is like? We are from Florida in the U.S. so hopefully it is not too cold.

Weather after the first half of April is usually pretty nice. The first half, however, could be somewhat cold to warm. When visiting Germany in any month it is best to think of wearing clothes in layers as even the summers can possibly be quite cool. Of course, if you are up in the mountains it could also be quite cold.
By the way, the world%26#39;s biggest Spring beer festival is in Stuttgart from 12Apr to 4May, Fruehlingsfest, www.stuttgarter-fruehlingsfest.de and www.stuttgart-tourist.de .

I can only agree with marcopolko - bring clothes you can wear in layers.
The weather in spring can be very changeable. It%26#39;s not Ireland, but especially in western Germany, springtime weather is often influenced by weather fronts from the Atlantic ocean. So you should bring some umbrella or raincoat, for you could end up with frequent changes from sunny and warm to rain or even snow showers (commonly known here as %26#39;Aprilwetter%26#39; - april weather).
Especially along the Rhine river and other valleys, you should find some mild spring weather, but there%26#39;s also still a small chance of snow, especially in higher areas in southern Germany.
