Hello,
My husband and I (from Toronto, Canada) have decided to travel to Prague, Vienna Salzburg, Innsbruck and Munich this summer. I have this lovely dream of spending a night or two in a beautiful inn/resort in the alps (i.e, balcony overlooking the mountains). We%26#39;ll likely be traveling by train for the most part (although we could rent a car if need be). Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions to help me on this one.
Thank you,
Kara

I%26#39;ve checked out both the websites. Thanks. Is there any inn/resort in particular? The Post sticked out, but it%26#39;s hard to tell.

We like to stay at the Villa Jaegerhaus in Hohenschwangau, an excellent very small hotel. You can have close-up views of lit-up by night Neuschwanstein Castle from your bed with the Alps behind. The middle room facing Neuschwanstein one floor up is very nice, as is the corner one nextdoor which also has views besides Neuschwanstein of nextdoor lit-up by night Hohenschwangau Palace. Click on my name to see a review, and another reviewer also has some nice pictures.
It%26#39;s a great place to stay with the lovely architecture of Neuschwanstein (which I believe is best viewed over time under various lighting conditions) sitting amidst the Alps. The restaurant in the associated hotel across the road is also excellent.

Awesome. Thanks for your help! I will definitely check it out.
